Zo Lief – “Hypnosis”

//

Consuming with a hazy, nostalgic array of dreamy vocals and twangy guitar delights, “Hypnosis” is a stirring single from Zo Lief. The duo comprises Dutch vocalist/songwriter Laura Chen and British multi-instrumentalist James Attwood. Lyrical accounts of a “state of hypnosis” emanate with a starry-eyed appeal throughout the track, as Chen’s vocals attain a lushly gripping allure as traversals of jangly guitars and illuminated key-laden reflections come into view. “Hypnosis” is a thorough success from the duo, who spend time between The Netherlands and Brighton/London, UK.
