Hen Hoose Collective – “Out My Mind”

/

Hen Hoose Collective‘s new single “Out My Mind” pulses with a lively blend of disco-pop, punk, and rock vibrancy — layering dynamic vocals, shimmering synths, crisp beats, and wiry guitars. Written and recorded over an intensive four-day session at Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis, the track captures a sense of spontaneity and collaborative energy. A female and non-binary-led collective, Hen Hoose channels inclusive creativity and bold experimentation, making the song a compelling glimpse of their forthcoming album, due to release in early 2026.

“Out My Mind” develops with riveting sophistication, channeling a funk-touched pop passion that ventures seamlessly from vocal-fronted bustling to more dynamic accompanying instrumentation. “Can’t describe the thoughts that I’m holding, I’m slipping through time,” the suave vocals let out initially, perking up in the “everything is freaking me out” admissions as charismatic piano, trickling guitars, and pulsing rhythms continue swelling forth.

A vocal-only emergence kickstarts the song’s second half, casting a similar momentum-forward feeling that progresses from harmonious vocal vigor into an electric title-touting refrain. Added guitar buzzing bolsters the enthusiasm further, as the various vocal adornments continue moving forth with faultless, melodic energy. “Out My Mind” is a replay-inducing standout from Hen Hoose Collective, leaving us firmly anticipating the project’s upcoming full-length next year.
