Lines like “you get high on the thrust of feels” spotlight escapism, and a general yearning for grounding connection amid unchecked positivity. “Starstreams” is an emotively impactful and strongly atmospheric gem from Veinmelter, which represents the project of multi-instrumentalist Winston Harrison. He began his music career playing bass for singer-songwriter Gabe Dixon. He then started ambient music project Fuzzmuzz. Veinmelter is his latest project, bringing together his love for textural ambient work and darker, hypnotic aesthetics.
