Low Indigos – “Last Night I Had a Dream”

Capturing love’s shifting nature through the prism of dreams, “Last Night I Had a Dream” is a memorable track from Low Indigos. A stirring alt-folk sound lingers throughout, propelled by an initial burst of trickling piano and sturdy guitar strums. “Last night I had a dream,” Abel Bradshaw’s warming vocals let out. “In the dream you said you hate me.” Intermittent streams of piano and sparser guitar-fronted accompaniments bolster throughout, the latter in more introspective moments and then gliding into moments of ardor in realizations like “guess we need some more time to grieve.” Ultimately, the track serves as a hauntingly beautiful exploration of the subconscious and enduring love, set within a melodic, satiating production.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
