Garet Camella – “Balance”

Bright, jangly guitars set Garet Camella‘s new track “Balance” into beautiful motion, warm and approachable as an introspective vocal presence emerges. “Every morning I wake without the sun, and hold my breath in, until the day is done,” the vocals let out, relatable in its daily-grind perspectives and ensuing emotions — anticipating relief when “my own dreams to tell me when I can exhale” and then arising to a stirring admission: “I need balance / I need something that I can’t miss.”

“When will the clouds lift?” the vocals continue to enamor, both thematically in its yearning for brighter days, and also the shimmering backing tone that adds seamlessly to the vibrant guitar jangling. The production’s crisp Telecaster tones and hopeful, vulnerable lyricism lead a fully resonating production from Garet Camella, coming via the Los Angeles-based artist’s upcoming EP, Just Passing Through.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
