Amarah – “Invisible Light”

Italian artist Amarah begins a new chapter with “Invisible Light,” her first English-language single. The track blends atmospheric electronic production with an intimate dark-pop sensibility, set amidst thematic yearning during times of uncertainty and tumult. Moving away from fleeting trends, the song balances lush acoustics and spacey synths with a deeply human message, serving up an immersive journey that bridges the space between bright optimism and shadowy atmospherics.

An enthrallingly serene voice emerges right away, complemented by gentle electronic shimmers and solemn acoustics. “I keep my hands still, in the corner of the dark,” Amarah croons with magnetic charm, bolstered by starry-eyed synths in the ensuing “breathing with the quiet” introspection. A blissfully melodic chorus arrives next, as bouncy percussion, shimmering guitars, and pulsating electronics adorn a gripping proclamation: “I carry an invisible light / And it finds me.”

Past the two-minute mark, an especially memorable and dynamic melodic flow appears. “I was never empty, I was only small,” Amarah sings with heightened pitch yet subdued tonal contemplation. A cohesively impactful return to the “I carry an invisible light” hook then shines, the palpable emotion furthered by sporadic, wordless harmonies that convey replay-inducing enthusiasm. An emotively melodic pop success, “Invisible Light” is a standout showing from Amarah.
