JOHN DORIAN – “LOVE I REMEMBER”

Successful in its harmonious, jangly pop serenity amidst contemplations on tumultuous times, “LOVE I REMEMBER” is an affecting new track from Brooklyn-based artist JOHN DORIAN. It also features Marty Willson-Piper (The Church), who arranged and performed the track’s electric guitars. Sirintip’s dreamy backing vocals also bolster the fantastic songwriting, which Dorian accomplished alongside co-writer and multi-instrumentalist Julian Harris.

The production enamors in its overall cohesion — fusing radiant synths, jangling guitar warmth, and lyrical contemplations on the struggles to stay connected and love fully. An opening, jubilant “love remembers your name” vocal layering moves quickly into the lovely combination of twanging guitars and effervescent synths, moving thereafter with blissfully melodic tendencies and reminders like “love takes time.” “LOVE I REMEMBER” is a wholly resonating output from JOHN DORIAN.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
