Olly Pitcher – “Seeking Something”

/

Brighton, England-based producer Olly Pitcher turns an early-morning melodic idea into “Seeking Something,” a fluid electronic journey shaped by discovery and uplift. Grooving bass, fluttering textures, and expansive synths continually shift between intimate atmosphere and kinetic movement, while its melodic focus gives the track an especially organic, song-oriented quality.

Thumping rhythms and clanging electronic lushness assemble for an absorbing introduction, before giving way to a warming bass-friendly prominence. A glistening lead emerges thereafter, echoing a flute-like melodic flourish in its effervescent tonal vibrancy. The heavy electronic rhythms continue to ruminate seamlessly alongside, properly balancing starry-eyed elegance with more dancefloor-set gyrations. The latter is enjoyably prominent at the 01:17 mark, where additional synth work elevates with charismatic outpouring.

A shift back toward a more serene, spacey appeal arrives at the two-minute mark, where the illuminated synth work is fully embraced. That melodic direction dazzles in its expanse from dreamy envelopment to rhythm-bolstered ardor as the final minute approaches. In the track’s final moments, an airy pad and aquatic-like textures assemble for a blissfully atmospheric send-off, solidifying a wonderful listening experience from Olly Pitcher.

Olly Pitcher continues to showcase a fantastic tendency for riveting soundscapes and melodic allure, a talent also apparent on previously featured tracks “New Track” and “Floating Through a Dream.”

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Electronic.
