Video: BisonBison – “Expanding”

Following up last week’s track feature of “Expanding” from BisonBison, the project released a video for the track today. The track’s wintry soundscape is aptly captured here, showing a lone navigator through a snowy climate. The track’s themes — such as how moments of solitude can help free our minds and stimulate appreciation — are nicely reflected in the visual journey.

Previous track description:

“Expanding” shows an apt title, with its consuming song structure undergoing an enjoyable expansion process. Theatrical strings, swelling percussion, wordless vocal chants, and trickling acoustics kick this off, a striking track from BisonBison. The Toronto-based project comprises producers Dani Ramez and Chad Skinner, in addition to Caribou drummer and producer Brad Weber, harpist Sinéad Bermingham, and vocalist Sophia Alexandra. As is evident on “Expanding,” BisonBison expertly interweave elements of folk and electronica, within stirring vocal sections and dynamic arrangements. “Expanding” is a gem from BisonBison.
