Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit – “Made It All The Way to San Francisco”

/

“Made It All The Way to San Francisco” is a suave, chugging rocker from Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit. The subtle creeping of organs just past the one-minute mark reminds fondly of Nick Cave. Thereafter, a scorching guitar solo affirms the track’s consuming qualities. “After extensive touring over the years, this song touches on the relentlessness and disillusionment of the road,” Pace says. “Made It All The Way to San Francisco” is definitely a winner from the Austin, TX-based act.

Pace is currently in the midst of a 45-city solo tour, featured as an Artist in Residence with Triumph Motorcycles as part of their Best of British Tour, with additional shows along the way.

“Made It All The Way to San Francisco” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2020’ Spotify playlist.
