A track from Michael Baker‘s new album How Come You Sleep, “Caught in the Crossfire” impresses with its ardent vocals and guitar/piano interplay. Acoustical lushness and prancing piano accompany Baker’s serene vocal presence. The second half features a backing symphonic shimmer, playing especially well as Baker says “I’m just caught in a crossfire.” Serene guitar trickles and soothing vocal catharsis culminate beautifully during this section. The Anglo-French singer/songwriter impresses on this track and throughout How Come You Sleep.
