An optimistic, breezy melodic appeal emanates within “Hope Is Closer Than You Think,” the latest single from Kar Stanton. Playing music since a young age whilst growing up in Dundee, Scotland, Stanton’s multi-instrumental prowess and hooky songwriting show strongly on this new track.
Mellow keys and spacey synths complement a lushly introspective vocal lead, centering around the upbeat title-referencing refrain, fulfilling in its mantra-like qualities. Slight brassy qualities adorn gracefully, as Stanton’s understated vocal enticement gripping throughout within a production that balances singer/songwriter charm with synth-pop glistening.
