Miller Tracy – “Creature Comfort”

/

Chicago-based artist Miller Tracy crafts a debonair rock immersion on new single “Creature Comfort,” described as “about the elusiveness of self-love.” Marking the first single from his debut LP, the track’s production excels in its range between suave initial introspection and expressive vocal soaring — punctuated by twangy guitar delights and magnetic keyboards; the latter comes via Alabama Shakes keyboardist Ben Tanner.

Vocal ruminations on hearing a “loud voice,” move within a no-frills rock realm into Tracy’s more enthused vocal soaring, punctuated by a sating guitar twang into now hearing a “soft voice.” A swampy rock aesthetic takes hold on this stirrer from Miller Tracy, whose upcoming LP we’re now certainly looking forward to.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
