PALMSY – “You’re Far Too Cool For Me”

Holland rock outfit PALMSY might be hundreds of miles from their namesake trees, but they harness that sunny energy into their latest single “You’re Far Too Cool For Me”. PALMSY’s sound treads the line between jangly indie pop and the breezy energy of pop-punk. The lead guitar riff recalls bands like Two Door Cinema Club and the Strokes mixed with the punch of ’90s alt-rock (think Weezer, not Nirvana). The lyrics make the quartet seem unworthy of whoever they’re chasing after, but these guys are more than cool; they should have nothing to worry about.
