IISKO – “Up All Night”

Released on New Years Day, IISKO’s “Up All Night” offers up a beautiful assortment of twangy guitars, ethereal vocals, and shuffling percussion — a hazy island setting accompaniment by a contemporary hook-laden readiness. Aptly so, the track aims to capture the feeling of arriving to California, which the group did recently after moving from Chicago. The move prompted melodies and creative ideas to flow, and an effort like “Up All Night” certainly makes a great start for IISKO’s West Coast presence. The young act, formed in November of 2015 by guitarist/producer Jack Ramsey and singer Kim Hoffa, looks to have a very bright future, likely propelled in part by this breezy and enjoyable track.
