A Thousand Hours – “Christina”

/

A Thousand Hours draw from influences like Slowdive and Cocteau Twins to craft an ethereal, atmospheric vein of nocturnal rock. Engaging new track “Christina” is the second to be released from their upcoming album Sleep, out July 22nd on Vesper Records. The Alaska-based project showcases a very melodic, haunting sound on “Christina”, where the ghostly vocals call out the track’s name over twangy post-punk guitar movements and the growing shimmer of backing keys/synths. This slow-burner is a considerable success, painting a beautiful soundscape led by guitars and the otherworldly vocal presence.
