Julian Wa – “Bloom”

“Bloom” is a riveting and yearning slice of folk, showcasing the gorgeous, airy vocals of Australian singer/songwriter Julian Wa. Definitively haunting, the track develops from quaint folk beginnings to a truly haunting assortment of melodies. By the one-minute mark, there’s extraordinary depth in Wa’s ghostly vocals and the backing instrumentation, clearly rising above the folk-laden minimalism of the intro. The song was released on Julian’s eponymous EP in late 2017 and will be released as a single around August this year.
