Noah Chenfeld – “Lucy”

/

NYC singer/songwriter Noah Chenfeld impresses with today’s track release “Lucy”, a catchy pop track with an nostalgic ’80s feel that reminds of New Order’s hook-driven efforts. The “I’m not your friend / I’m not your enemy,” hook at the one-minute mark unveils a brighter turn, one that reminds of Ice Choir / Kurt Feldman. Chenfeld’s previous single, “Boston”, drew some nice attention and praise. “Lucy” continues that trend, showing an emerging singer/songwriter with pop smarts and a knack for quality ’80s audible nostalgia.

“Lucy” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Catchy Indie Pop 2018.
