Rolko – “Emerald Stones”

/

Fit for Halloween with its haunting, eerie vibes, “Emerald Stones” is a consuming new track from Rolko, an artist from Miami. He has a forthcoming debut album, Hidden Hotel Rooms, on the horizon. The vocals tout a suave, Alex Turner-like demeanor, as a brooding bass line sets the initial mood. As the track progresses, lingering brass sustains at points, adding to the already-intoxicating soundscape. 02:50 onward – with this delectable brass and haunting kids choir – is particularly captivating. This is very promising stuff from Rolko.

“Emerald Stones” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2018’ Spotify playlist.
