Emanuel Tägil – “Never Let Us Go”

Swedish artist Emanuel Tägil produces a striking sound on new track “Never Let Us Go,” featuring a captivating vocal presence and rousing guitar/piano accompaniments. The vocals have an unsettling quiver, accompanied by apt imagery, like that of a spider sitting on the wall or the ability to see one’s death. The ominous, captivating mood is thoroughly successful. Tägil is influenced by “’80s synth music, post punk, ’90s Norwegian black metal, church music and lo-fi singer songwriter,” and the eclectic nature shows. “Never Let Us Go” is a track fit for listening on a chilly, autumnal day.
