Metropoly – “Take It Easy”

/

Julian Ferraldo and Ben Loran comprise the duo Metropoly. Their new track “Take It Easy” is an undeniably catchy success. A spirited funk-tinged hook by featured vocalist Alverneq, repeating the track’s title, combines with smoothly captivating verses that show a more R&B tilt. Influenced by ‘80s pop, ‘90s R&B, and early 2000s electronica, the project is clearly adept at crafting audible accompaniments for late-night drives and walks. It’s the type of track that yearns for additional replays in its catchy charm, though while also showing ample merit in its late-night atmospheric construction.

“Take It Easy” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Catchy Electro and Synth-Pop.
