Randuski – “World Around Us”

Released on New Years Day, “World Around Us” is a track from Randuski’s new EP LoFlying Planes. Fans of lo-fi hip-hop beats are likely to enjoy the Reno-based artist’s atmospheric pull. A solemn piano complements warm crackling, with synth trickles and lush hi-hats working their way in. A grooving bass line swiftly accompanies a more standard percussive loop, with the track developing beautifully from there. The funky, brass-laden “Rolling Stone” is another track of note from the release.

“World Around Us” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Nocturnal Electronica.
