Quelle Rox – “Tired”

The blissfully hypnotic “Tired” is the latest success from Quelle Rox, the Brooklyn musician who impressed last year with “Dream Daisies.” Her lo-fi dream-pop sound continues its atmospheric charm, with the vocals assuming an aptly lethargic tone early on, though lifted with effervescent appeal during the “I’m tired,” hook. Here, synths emerge with a seemingly aquatic feel. Otherworldly, lush, and hypnotic, “Tired” is chilled-out enjoyment, mixed by Huck. Quelle Rox is a project with all the indications of future success.

“Tired” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Lush Indie Electronic.
