Aadams – “Forever on the Fence”

//

New Jersey singer/songwriter Aadams unveils a haunting folk sound on new track “Forever on the Fence.” Released today, the track continues the powerful sound shown on track “Castaway” a couple months ago. Powerful, full vocals help guide a stirring acoustical presence, making for an emotional sound from the get-go. The two-minute mark sees an absolutely gorgeous introduction of strings and slight keys, adding a haunting orchestral element to the artist’s captivating vocals, which assume a murky effect shortly thereafter that succeeds in aligning with the track’s consuming soundscape. Fleet Foxes and Radiohead vibes are abound on this excellent track, with the “don’t make a sound,” conclusion sounding enjoyably George Harrison-esque.

“Forever on the Fence” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Folk.
