Astrolemo – “Dreams in Reverse”

/

Astrolemo impressed last year with the Haunting Me EP and the track “Just Another Lie,” an atmospheric effort with spacey synth arps, bustling trip-hop rhythms and hypnotic vocal effects. The project, which formed in 2017, continues to impress with its balance of lush soundscapes and vocal pop hooks with new track “Dreams in Reverse.” The track’s vocals ascend in emotion and pitch as the one-minute mark hits, transitioning seamlessly from the more nocturnal, nonchalant verses. Massive Attack is an oft-cited influence for the act, and the captivating soundscapes produced so far by Astrolemo certainly echoes that spacey, trip-hop/pop feel.

“Dreams in Reverse” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2019’ Spotify playlist.
