Premiere: Carla D’Amore – “Constance”

/

“Constance” is a hauntingly rousing folk effort from Carla D’Amore, a native New Yorker who has relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark. “My music creates a space that asks the listener to open up themselves to feeling something deeper, even if it those feelings are challenging,” she says. “”Constance,” my second single, is a song of a traveler at sea risking her life. It is a well known crowd-pleaser amongst the fans that I have made performing live throughout the city.” D’Amore is presently playing throughout Copenhagen in anticipation of her debut EP this June, in addition to planning a fall tour in both Denmark and New York. The track rides on entrancing vocals and lively acoustics, with a touch of strings toward the end, with the repeating “constance, can you feel the beauty?” playing with mysterious allure.

“Constance” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2019’ Spotify playlist.
