Revolvers – “Rubbing Shoulders With The Devil”

/
Design: Alex Thomas

Released today, “Rubbing Shoulders With The Devil” is a catchy rocker from London-based act Revolvers. A menacing guitar growl accompanies confident vocals to start, exuding a vibe reminiscent of early Arctic Monkeys or Supergrass. The track’s chorus is one that’s simple at heart, though very successful on a melodic level, emitting a Black Keys-like production stomp. Keeping in mind the comparisons mentioned thus far, it’s clear that Revolvers pack a radio-friendly rock punch, while still touting an endearing swagger reminiscent of late ’90s and early ’00s garage/indie-rock. The track follows the band’s releases thus far: “Come Again” and “True Love.” All the tracks were produced by George Apsion (White Lies, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Ellie Goulding). Look for Revolvers to quickly rise based on the quality and radio-friendly appeal of these three tracks to date.
