RHYNE – “Finding”

/

After impressing with the track “Cynthy” a couple years back, Los Angeles project RHYNE again catches my ear, this time with new track “Finding.” The overall project is inspired by “finding peace in creativity, specifically creating music as an intimate expression of ones personal qualities.” The lushly entrancing nature of “Finding” certainly speaks to that, granting listeners a warm sense of tranquility with its dreamy aesthetic. With the backdrop of a warm summer day, with birds chirping, a crisp vocal presence mingles with a pulsating effect that resembles a lingering woodwind. The trickling arpeggio at 01:19 adds a magical quality. Overall, this is a stellar track that’s warmly inviting and able to quickly soothe listeners.

“Finding” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Lush Indie Electronic.
