Specifically, the pulsing excitement around 01:30 signals a series of exciting melodic and stylistic twists — alternating between rollicking rock and more understated, saloon-friendly jaunts. “YGS” is an excellent piece of songwriting and showing of stylistic versatility from the impressive Henry Black.
