Louie Elser – “Holograms”

/

San Francisco-based artist Louie Elser succeeds with a track that’s both serene and stirring. “Holograms” shows Elser’s ability to craft haunting soundscapes with a quivering croon, accompanied by murky rhythms and suave keys. The “here you go again,” vocal stirring, which heightens in pitch with a sincere yearning, sends chills. “Holograms” comes via Elser’s upcoming album, out in October. The consuming “Holograms” has me anticipating that release, for sure.

“Holograms” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2019’ Spotify playlist.
