Video: Katie Rush – “Disappear”

/

NYC-based electro-pop artist Katie Rush impressed with the album Stage Life in April. Stage Life was written by Rush and her producer/collaborator, the late Sam Mehran (Test Icicles, Outer Limits Recordings, Matrix Metals). The release was also in collaboration with Zak Mering (Raw Thrills, Mak Zering, Greatest Hits).

Among the album’s highlights is the track “Disappear,” whose music video released earlier this month. Directed by Julia Sinelnikova, the video captures the track’s nocturnal vibes through ample use of blue, purple, and darker colors. The melodic synth arps generally align with a visual shift. The video for “Disappear” does well in adding to the track’s atmosphere and melodic pull.
