Sean Miller – “Phone Call Smiles” (feat. Laura Fullford)

/

Sean Miller’s new solo EP, Everywhere I Roam, shows a serene, acoustical sound with heartfelt appeal. The Northern Michigan-based singer/songwriter also plays in the band The Real Ingredients, and is using the EP to showcase his own material. Among the seven tracks, “Phone Call Smiles” stands out strongly for its lovely vocal melodies and acoustical fluttering. Laura Fullford’s lush vocals mesh beautifully with Miller’s twangier output. The effervescent, soaring “Man on a Roof” is another EP cut that I’ve been replaying. Per Miller, the release “takes a look at my life while talking about relationships, mental health, the good times and the bad.”
