CS Survival Kit – “Hold Me Close”

/

A tender song exploring the power of love and hope, “Hold Me Close” is a moving single from Maine-based artist collective CS Survival Kit. Douglas Elder formed the project following his contributions and singer and guitarist for The Wrecking, and “Hold Me Close” is described as emphasizing “the power of love to heal and conquer, offering a message of perseverance and faith.”

“Love can conquer all,” an especially powerful vocal refrain lets out amidst chirpy guitar power, following a series of introspective verses. The “hold me close,” yearning follows cohesively, bringing back that more subdued tenderness for a satiating finale. “Hold Me Close” engages in its range of emotive invigoration and steady pop/rock approachability.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
