PARACHUTER – “You Are My Home”

/

Wesley Jensen and his PARACHUTER project consume throughout new track “You Are My Home.” Guitars and synths propel engaging verses, leading seamlessly into a hypnotic chorus with buzzing, warming synths and serene vocals. The ensuing bridge — “you are my home,” — is melodically reflective of further warm embrace. “This song is about finding a safe place with the one you love when you’re feeling lost and surrounded by chaos (which unfortunately is all the time right now),” the artist writes. Those intentions are audibly conveyed in memorably melodic form, amidst the quality production we have come to expect from Jensen after impressing with the tracks “Chemistry” and “Modern Day.” I will definitely continue to anticipate future releases from PARACHUTER.

“You Are My Home” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2020’ Spotify playlist.
