Inside Mood – “Hazy”

Serene and blissful, “Hazy” is another thorough success from Inside Mood, the San Francisco-based duo that impressed in September with the track “Fever Dream,” which appears on the band’s new EP alongside “Hazy.” The chilled-out synth reflections and island-friendly guitar swaying makes “Hazy” a charmer from the get-go. The guitars and synths converge with swirling appeal around 01:07, building enjoyably to the “don’t forget,” vocal suaveness. “Hazy” is another strong showing from Inside Mood’s self-titled EP, streaming below in full.

Inside Mood describe “Hazy” as “about disguising people’s intentions and confronting misconceptions.”

“Hazy” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
