Joe Vann – “Age”

Moody guitars and synth flourishes guide “Age,” the fifth single from Joe Vann‘s upcoming album. Retrospective lyrics give in to advancement, “I’m not a little kid anymore,” as synths appear sporadically amidst steady percussion and ruminating guitars. “I don’t know anyone,” Vann lets out just prior a bouncy guitar-fronted concluding segment, echoing the hypnotic melodic mainstay throughout. “Age” succeeds with atmosphere and genial melodic charm throughout. I’ll definitely be anticipating Joe Vann’s upcoming album.

“Age” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2021’ Spotify playlist.
