Glassmaps – “It’s OK”

///

“It’s OK” shows crisp, reassuring enjoyment from Glassmaps, reminding of parts Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Expressive, psych-friendly guitars and pulsing bass give way to smoother, funk-tinged vocal expression to start. The one-minute mark sees an exotic vocal inflection, giving off those UMO vibes. A couple minutes later, climactic guitars pause dramatically, absorbing within a psych-rock soundscape as the vocals ease back in. “It’s OK” is a fully enjoyable ride from Glassmaps.

“It’s OK” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2021’ Spotify playlist.
