Arham – “try the other way”

//

“try the other way” is a hypnotic, psychedelic track from Arham. Dazed vocal layers intermingle with caressing guitar tones, building to a stellar title-referencing hook around 01:45. This particular section soars initially, showing a lusher disposition past the two-minute mark before the percussion resumes. The hook itself is nicely representative of Arham’s tonal variety and grasp. The added key-laden glistening in the final minute adds a particularly nice touch. The Norwegian artist certainly impresses with the consuming “try the other way.”

Describing the track, Arham writes the following:

“I like ethereal psychadelic vibes, and that’s what came out in this song. I wrote. played, produced, and mixed this all by myself. I’ve been producing for a while before making this song, mostly for other people. At one point I just let myself flow freely and this is what happened. Theres not that much to say about the song I think. I just wish people would try things differently sometimes. So yeah just try the other way.”

“try the other way” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2021’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Psychedelia.
