“Grind” is a new track from BARK, off the band’s upcoming album Relics, out April 2nd. A buzzing backing and charismatic vocals exude a vibe nicely reminiscent of Perfume Genius. The industrial-friendly bassy buzzing and guitar injection at 00:53 play alongside the haunting vocal for excellent effects, rising passionately past 01:08 alongside further consuming guitar work, the quivering vocals akin to late-era Bowie. The distant-sounding vocal effect in the closing moments further exemplifies a high-quality production with nuance.
