/

“Take Over” is a new single from Har’Monique, showcasing the Brooklyn-based artist’s blend of Caribbean-inspired pop, R&B, and hip-hop. “Come let me give you my emotion,” Har’Monique sings during the catchy chorus, with dancehall-friendly percussion and expressive vocal layering leaving a memorable imprint. “I could be the best thing you ever had in life,” she continues during a catching section with some reggae influence. The track shows charming, radio-friendly production throughout. The project of Monique Fraser, Har’Monique will be releasing her self-titled album on October 15th, delivering 16 tracks in this pop, hip-hop, and R&B vein.

“Take Over” and other memorable tracks from this August can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2021’ Spotify playlist.
