Brother Brother – “I Never Let Go”

Exuding a breezy, jangly appeal, “I Never Let Go” is an alluring new track from Los Angeles-based project Brother Brother, the solo work of singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Avi Makua Durchfort.

Crisp guitar jangles lead into an amiable vocal lead, emulating a casual meeting of friends: “Tell me how you’ve been, I hope you’re well.” The retrospective “think about the time,” lead is bolstered by fluttering guitar jangles, driving into the melodically delectable “where does it come from, I really don’t know,” vocal hook. A lusher arsenal approaching the three-minute mark leads into a rousing final minute.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2022’ Spotify playlist.
