“Keedy’s” is a smooth new single from Los Angeles-based artist Michael Court. Quaint guitar jangles and understated vocals craft a lushly enticing beginning, swaying along with an amiable charm. Wordless backing vocal caressing and spacey synths precede an uptick in vocal charisma, the lyrics lamenting “anything that keeps reminding me of you.” The track’s retrospective lyrical yearning play entrancingly alongside the swaying guitar jangles and occasional synth infusions. “Keedy’s” boasts an accessibly melodic sound, and I’m looking forward to what’s next from Court, whose background includes frequent touring and session playing for artists around Los Angeles. “Keedy’s” showcases his own songwriting chops with a breezy allure.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2022’ Spotify playlist.
