Nick Costa – “Supermoon”

“Supermoon” is a soaring, melodic new track from Vancouver-based artist Nick Costa. The opening lyrics play like a romantic ode amidst dreamy guitar tones: “What a privilege to be alive in the same time that you were in it too.” Costa’s expressive vocal heights and laid-back guitars intermingle with a seamless allure, amiably and accessibly with a brightly yearning quality. The bridge, dreaming of eating peach ice cream with the “girl of my dreams,” plays with an enchantingly melodic pull; this structural turn is replay-inducing in its own right, and the track’s other sections compel as well. “Supermoon” showcases stellar songwriting and a twangy, dreamy rock/pop aesthetic from Nick Costa.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2022’ Spotify playlist.
