Jimmy Beach – “Found You”

Scorching guitars and sensual vocals consume throughout “Found You,” a soulful and charismatic track from Los Angeles-based trio Jimmy Beach. The vocals work alongside creeping guitars and rhythms to start, accompanied by a funky synth tone as the first rise approaches. The start-stop rhythmic sections lend a climatic pull into the title-referencing, yearning refrain around the three-minute mark. “Found You” touts a heated, bluesy quality within a murky atmospheric charm, reminiscent of Yves Tumor, and proving fully memorable in its melody and aesthetic.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of April 2022’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Funk and Soul.
