The Burgler – “False Alarm”

Playful synths and chirpy guitars lead an engaging sound throughout “False Alarm,” a track impressing with its hooky guitar lines and bustling rhythmic additions. The single comes from The Burgler, the project of artist Ori Kastiel, based in Eilat, Israel.

The bouncy bass line and laid-back vocals compel with a nostalgic, soul-tinged delivery. The retro-pop feeling finds success via the enjoyably straight-cutting guitar-based melody, gradually accompanied by perky synths and a bolstered rhythm section. “False Alarm” is an easy-listening, catchy success from The Burgler.

The project’s self-titled debut EP is releasing on May 31st.

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2022’ Spotify playlist.
