COOL HEAT – “Paranoid”

“Paranoid” is a dreamy rocker from Chicago-based act COOL HEAT. A gently ruminating bass-heavy introduction casts a hypnotic spell. The glistening guitar presence past the first minute expands into a lovely, shimmering allure, which never lets go throughout the track’s duration.

The initial lyrics play aptly amidst the scaled-back pace following the guitar-based push — “fading out, calming down.” Vibrant guitar-led escalation past the one-minute turn remains a constant thereafter, playing with especially memorable effect alongside the serene vocal entries in the final minute. “Paranoid” is a laid-back, hypnotic entry from the talented COOL HEAT.
