Sam Himself – “Never Let Me Go”

/

“Never Let Me Go” is an alluring new track from Sam Himself, the project of Swiss-born, Brooklyn-based artist Sam Koechlin. Lush acoustical strums and effervescent keys coalesce alongside Sam’s serene vocals, the weary baritone presence exuding some Springsteen likeness. The emergence of pulsing percussion comes alongside an additional guitar layering, driving to an exciting dose of feedback as Sam’s vocals linger.

Produced and engineered by Sam’s longtime creative partner Daniel James Schlett, Never Let Me Go” compels in its melodic infusing of caressing acoustics, chiming keys, and lush synth layers. The single also releases alongside a music video, made with videographer Stefan Tschumi. Capturing the gorgeous Icelandic landscape, the video is an apt accompaniment to this shimmering success.

Sam is also active on the tour circuit, with several Switzerland dates upcoming and 2023 North America dates in planning.
