Dan Forsyth – “Switch”

//

Delivering a heartfelt and meditative folk sound, “Switch” represents the third single from Dan Forsyth‘s new album, Friday Night Nowhere. Recorded in a bedroom studio on a 4 track cassette machine, “Switch” succeeds in an initial laid-back composure, rising with steady precision. The “I don’t know what to tell you,” escalation stirs, guiding into the “you better just turn it off,” line, which plays with a heart-tugging resonance. The twangy guitars and heartfelt vocals make for an entrancing folk success throughout.
