The first new single in over a year from Spen Oliver’s bedroom pop project Found Space, “Shatter” is a dimly-lit delight that captures “themes of overcoming apathy and reconnecting with one’s roots.” Caressing vocals and mellow guitar pulses craft a hazy envelopment, with the vocals fading momentarily as post-punk guitar tones emphasize into the one-minute turn. Illuminated keys reflect subtly in the distance, with a wordless vocal soaring past the three-minute turn driving into a blissful finale.
