Eli Waltz – “Writer’s Block”

//

A new track from Washington, D.C.-based artist Eli Waltz, “Writer’s Block” shows a stirring folk sound that ventures from a familiarly inviting acoustical sound into an expansive, psychedelic rock fervency. “Yet my mind drifts like a desert cloud,” he sings alongside a sole acoustic backing during the quainter first half, setting for a rousing expanse.

A humming vocal envelopment approaches the second minute, sending chills as the guitars escalate with a flickering glow. The culminating, rock-forward appeal energizes with suavely scorching vocals. Wailing guitars deliver a fantastic finale, emphasizing the artist’s eclectic tonal strengths throughout.
